WHO AM I?
Growing up in small town Iowa, there was never much to do other than play with my brothers and create whatever I could from junk drawer items. However, living in the hometown of movie star Donna Reed opened the world of acting to me early on. Playing pretend on the stage by day; glueing, painting, and paper macheing by night… though it probably gave my poor parents creative whiplash, I was in ideal imagination breeding grounds.

WHO AM I?
In high school, my dad planted the seed to apply my technical artistic abilities and create theatre in other ways. With guidance from my high school director, I was introduced to my passion: set design. Combining my love for storytelling and handiwork, I learned how to create the world of a play. Most importantly, I learned how each play shares glimmers of humanity’s story; a story of brokenness, hope, and restoration.
I am currently in my final year studying at Northwestern College (Iowa) for my B.A. in Theatre. When I'm not studying and working on homework, I can be found designing or building scenery and props for an upcoming college production, or memorizing lines. In my free time, I am either hanging out with friends, playing some sort of instrument, or finding more theatre to work on!
