ABOUT MEHi, I’m Jack MacGregor — a scenic designer, storyteller, and theatre artist passionate about crafting spaces that speak to the heart of what it means to be human.
I earned my B.A. in Theatre from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, and I’m currently pursuing my M.F.A. in Stage Design at The Ohio State University. While scenic design is my main focus, I also love exploring puppet design, enjoy working in props, and occasionally dabble in media design when a project calls for it.
At the core of my work is a desire to share the honesty of the world’s brokenness and the hope of humanity’s restoration. I believe theatre has a unique power to hold both truth and healing in the same breath — and I aim to design worlds that invite audiences into that tension with curiosity and wonder.
